LUCKY Friday the 13th - Positive Thinking Can Change Your World

Since I like to think positive and believe that doing that can create positive energy ... why not consider this to be a lucky day? ... We create the world that we want by what we think!

Friday the 13th can be a very lucky day.
In Ancient Rome, the citizens dedicated the 6th day of the week to their beautiful Goddess Venus, the Goddess of Love, Beauty and Fertility.  Eventually this day evolved into Friday, and was considered to be the luckiest day of the week.

The number 13 has been a magical number since the the Ancient Egyptians first depicted the Ladder to Eternal Life. They believed that there were twelve steps on the ladder to eternal life and knowledge and to take the thirteenth step meant going through death into everlasting life. Thirteen, for the Egyptians, was associated with immortality.

The number 13 in the Coperos religion (small culture in brazil) is like a God number. All coperos must know that this number can save the humankind. In Sikhism the number 13 is considered a special number since 13 is tera in Punjabi which also means "yours" (as in, "I am yours, O Lord").

There are other significances of the number 13; There are thirteen Moon cycles in a year, the ancient Lunar calendar had 13 months, a traditional coven has 13 members, Romans require 13 guests be present at weddings, in the Hebrew faith age 13 is considered to be an adult, there are 13 players on a rugby team and there are 13 cards of each suit in a deck of cards.

Wishing All Happiness, Peace, Abundance and LOVE !

Great post, my sister! You are right on about all of it!

The number 13 is indeed a magickal number and people only consider it "unlucky" because they choose to ~ not because it is true.

Thanks for sharing this with us, very cool!

Love & Blessings,

Kim

Love this post! An old friend often tells me that "thoughts are things", and I tend to believe that she is right.

I couldn't agree wit you more! Since the new year got off to a sort of strange start, I allowed that Friday the 13th was a restart for 2012. I considered it a very lucky day, a day for renewal and new beginnings!

I agree completely. We create our own reality. Actually, I have always considered Friday the 13th to be a lucky day myself.
