Balancing Your Chakras With Crystals

The other day my sister, who is a message therapist and a Reiki Master (I’m attuned to the Master Symbol myself) gave me a session with her newly purchased Chakra Therapy System which is pictured above.  It cost a ton of money by the way … there is no way I can afford to acquire that for myself.  It is designed under the guidance of the Devic and Celestial Realms to assist humankind.  I have to say I do believe she is a wonderful healer and this made me feel fabulous afterwards.  It just balances your chakras and I believe you can do the same thing in a much more inexpensive way.

Since I love crystals and stones and believe in their energy (all things have energy) using chakra balancing crystals is a simple way to do a chakra healing and chakra cleanse.

Place a stone of the appropriate color on each area.

This will give each chakra a boost of its own vibration without altering its energies or the system's overall harmony.

Use small stones, such as polished or tumbled crystals. Make sure that they have been energetically cleansed before you begin.  An easy way is to first run water over them using your kitchen faucet to wash away negative energy, then place them in the sun for a couple of hours to cleanse them further and energize them.  I also use selenite to cleanse my stones and jewelry.  Selenite is a special stone that never needs cleansing itself.    If you check my older posts, I have one just on this fabulous stone which is one of my favorites.

You can check your local new age shops or the internet for these stones.  It is best, if you can, to pick out your own stones.  I live in an area now where that is just not possible so I would have no compunctions to shop for them on the internet.
Choose your stones and arrange them in sequence beside where you will be lying. When you are ready, you can easily pick up the stones and place them on your body without them falling off.

Even though you might not sense any change, allow yourself a few moments to recover after having the stones in place for five or six minutes.

*It is helpful to start with a grounding stone, such as smoky quartz, between your legs to act as an anchor.

*For the base chakra, place a red stone at the bottom of the spine or two stones of the same sort at the top of each leg. This will balance physical energy, motivation and practicality, and promote a sense of stability.

*For the second or sacral chakra, position a orange-coloured stone on the lower abdomen to balance creativity, feelings and sexual drive, and to release stress and blocks in your life that prevent enjoyment.

*At the solar plexus use a yellow colour stone, positioned between the navel and ribcage to clear your thoughts, reduce anxiety and improve confidence. If there is tension here, put an energy-shifting stone, such as tiger's eye or clear quartz, on the diaphragm.

*To balance the heart chakra, place a green stone in the center of the chest. Add a pink stone for emotional clearing. This will balance your relationships, personal development, direction and sharing.

*For the throat chakra use a light blue stone, to ease communication difficulties, express yourself and improve the flow of information. Place it near the base of the throat, at the top of the breastbone.

*When using chakra balancing crystals to balance the brow or third eye chakra, place an indigo or dark blue stone in the center of the forehead to increase understanding, perception and knowledge, and to promote intuitive skills and memory. You can also try amethyst or another purple stone.

*The crystal for the crown chakra should rest just above the top of your head. It integrates and balances the whole chakra system and channels Universal life energy into the body, balancing the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of the self. It also stimulates fine levels of perception, intuition and inspiration. If you use an amethyst for the brow chakra, use clear quartz crystal for the crown. If you used a dark blue stone for the brow, choose a violet crystal or gemstone to position at the crown chakra.

I hope that your found this helpful.  I wish Health, Love and Happiness to ALL !

Here is a link to my blog, feel free to drop by, I'm still kind of new to the whole thing and most of the time I just find myself rambling.

Hi ArtSings,

So nice to meet you, love your work. I love acupuncture actually and your post reminded me of that, I really believe in acupunture, massage and healing.

Also, I have to say, I enjoyed your blog comment more then any others for quite a while. You see, the grass is always greener. You live in CF and want to live in NY and I live in NY and will be moving to Orlando in a year and a half because I hate, hate, hate the weather here. : ) I long for heat but mostly the sunshine as it is something that we lack here most of the year.

So, that being said, I will trade you? What do you say.

Hi Ruth, Sure I'll trade you any day.

I do think you'll be sorry to move down here. I've been here for years now and each year it's getting worse and worse. But, I know we have to travel our own path and you will have to find that out yourself.

It's funny I go the the acupuncturist quite often. It's wonderful and I'm so lucky to have found him ... he is Chinese and studied in China. And, I am a Reiki Master myself ... and try to channel that energy for myself. I don't do that for others since I'm afflicted right now with this and that.

My parents lived in Warwick, NY, Orange County. I am a native New Yorker and just loved that area...they are both gone now, but I do so miss them and the area.

I'll keep in touch by following your blog.

Hi Artsings,

Well, if you are from this area, I do understand. My husband and I have never liked it here, too dark and gloomy for us and way to expensive as well but we've lived here because of his job. Cannot wait to move where the sun shines.
Believe me, I've got no love for this area...I wish for you tho, if this is where you want to be, that you could move back.

We used to live in Warwick, funny enough, it is a lovely town.

I'm like you, love my acupuncturist...I go once a month now to treat allergies and to have a facial. Love it. We'll have to keep in touch via blog land. Have a great and artistic day.

Ruth

Thanks Terri. I wish I could afford this, but I'm hopeful that I will be able to someday soon. In the meantime I use my stones.

I really appreciate your positive comments.

Thank you for the reminder! I've had crystals for a while now but when I had to pack up my last office, I forgot about the crystals. I'm off to look in the boxes in my garage!

I really enjoy the wealth of insight you offer on you blog, along with your gentle, loving tone.
