Hi Jenny, so happy to hear from you. I have a blogger friend in New Zealand, somewhat near you but far enough way I expect. Blows my mind from time to time when I think about our season differences not to mention time differences. Our neighbors in Canada celebrate Thanksgiving in October ... I like to think of it as a holiday to remember how much we have to be grateful for, especially family and friends if we are so lucky.

Lovely post Jan - we don't have Thanksgiving in Europe (Ireland) either but I've always thought it a wonderful idea. Its definitely worth stopping for a moment to think about what there is to be grateful for.
