This is a wonderful poem by Yeats. The mermaid lore for the most part is a bit too dark for me. So, for me, mermaids and mermen are positive and beautiful sea creatures. I have created a few altered art mermaid pieces and have included the photo's here. Enjoy the day and pass on the good intentions to all you meet.
